This option combines Part Two of the Empowered Menopause self-paced online course with a live, interactive 90-minute Zoom workshop focused on connection, reflection, and shared learning. Upon registration, you’ll have immediate access to part 2: Sleep, Sex and Self care to begin your own learning and self reflection.
The live session then brings the material to life through small and large group discussion, creating space to share experiences, learn from one another, and feel less alone in the transition. This offering is especially supportive for women craving not just information, but an embodied sense of community and belonging during midlife.
In this second part, Dr Shana is present as a facilitator and guide, but the real magic comes from gathering in community and connecting with other women working their way through this transition.
In order for MSP and Medavie to cover the cost of the workshop, you will be redirected to a form to enter your MSP or Medavie information and to complete a brief intake form.
The self paced online course for this workshop is available to BC residents at a reduced rate of $35 (30% off). This gives you immediate access to the online materials to begin learning in your own time, well in advance of the workshop.

Part 2 – Course content:
1. Sleep, Sex and Self Care – slide presentation with Dr Shana as she gives a high level overview of some of the tools and concepts she found most helpful in navigating her own rough menopause transition
2. Supplementary videos – A collection of videos to dive deeper with Dr Shana on the ways she’s supported herself through this rough transition. Available in video or as audio only to listen “on the go”
a) Sleep – Dr Shana talks openly about the big challenges she’s had with sleep, and some of the supplements, tools and concepts that help her to cultivate more restorative sleep – Includes Progressive Relaxation MP3
b) Sex and Libido – A candid conversation with Dr Shana about sex and libido at midlife, and some of the ways she’s been supporting herself in this area
c) Mood changes – Dr Shana shares tools she’s learned to help her regulate her nervous system and to process her emotions
d) Boundaries – Learn more about boundaries and embodied choices by using our body to help guide us to aligned decisions and choices – Includes a guided visualization MP3
e) Self Compassion – Become your own inner mother and connect with the loving energy of Mother Earth as you cultivate compassion for yourself during this difficult time
f) Inner Wisdom – Reconnect with you feminine essence, and deepen your inner wisdom as you move through this time of transformation and growth.
